Dear Madhwa Reader,

Please read the below inspirational story of the way back 1921 where a set of women created a history by building a school where thousands of students god education. These women proved Nari-Shakti long back.

We all know till before NEP our education got redesigned as a commercial hub where lots of such schools got closed. As running education institution changed from giving education to making profit concept and getting infrastructure or getting approvals like CBSC, ICSC, etc while most such educated students still go through "basic communication training" in their offices after 30 years age!!!

Thanks to Government making NEP a new education type for the nation and thus allows one to build really great schools.

The note from our heart is: the one who builds school again should not start collecting huge money in crores and wasting it on sand and cement. Rather follow lean building concepts and invest money in the education and welfare of students and their families. Thus building nation once again through the blessings of Sri Madhwacharyaru and Sri Vedavyasaru whom we worship daily.

Tilak Kanya Shala was started in the year 1921 by a few noble Ladies of Bijapur. They went from one door to the other and collected funds as "Bhau-beej".

The School is being maintained well till date in adverse conditions by a courageous group of women of the Tilak Mahila Samaj, Bilapur.

We reckon to continue to run the schools in the best possible way despite the unfavorable conditions that we face today.

We now are successfully running the Marathi Medium primary school, a Kannada medium primary school and an English medium nursery and kindergarten school.

As the government has now decided to sell the lands, which till now were on lease, to the respective holders, we now have a daunting task of raising the funds, so as to buy the land of the school as early as possible.

The school never asked capitation from the students and will never wish to. The school has little funds by which we pay the salaries of the teachers.

Hence we hereby appeal to you all to help us in all possible ways to save the school and secure its future. we request you to donate handsomely. The donations are exempt from income tax.

Today with heavy influence of western culture, to be clear western Bad culture influence is much higher than influence of westerns good culture. The culture of cutting cake, waking up in midnight 12 and giving a gift/cake has become totally unavoidable. We are at peak of blind culture by people who said Dharma is blind belief!!! There are several life being sacrificed just because family did not agree to celebrate kids 1st birthday in hotel at the cost of 40-80,000. Women are under tremendous peer pressure today, applying kunkum, wearing mangalasutra has itself been a factor of being old-school-though person. People don't want to even show themselves as Madhwas, Brahmins or even married. ...
