Viprougha darasanath Sathya ksheeyanthe paparasaya, Vandanath mangalavaapthi, archanath achyutham padam.
Meaning: Seeing a crowd of Brahmins, the crowd of sins would fly away. If we salute them auspiciousness will come and if we worship them we will get salvation.
While we get lots of punya and paap nivrutti when we watch crowd of Vipras itself then imagine what kind of paap removal happens when you see a saint who is doing daily archana through Madhwa Peetha.
Why paap nivrutti if we see Brahmin Crowd?
- Brahmin gatherings happen only when saints are in town
- Gathering happens if any Hari-Dasa Habba/festivals happen
- Happens when there is Vidwat-Sabha
- Crowd happens if there is Utsava, new temple, Jnana Karya
- Crowd happens when there is Pitru Karya
Apart from this its hard to bring crowd of Brahmins to any place. As their Nitya-Karma are so happens that if they get time they would spend that with their Adyayana-Adhyapana and family.
So, if you see a crowd of Brahmins one of the above condition would go so true that you get along into worshiping GOD. Any gathering that prays in Jnanigalu, Jeevottamaru and Hari-Vayu then its a Punya karma. Thus yielding lots of Punya.
What is special about Jnanigalu?
We born and die due to our Karmas. So our purpose of the life becomes to burn and earn more and continue our momentum of birth & re-birth. But Janigalu will take birth as per Hari-Vayu ajna~.
When they are born, they have come with specific purpose to uplift Manukula and do more of Jnana karya. Their birth becomes purpose of removing sins from Hari-Bhaktas. That is why their birth is celebrated as an event. That is why our birthdays are celebrated in hotels and with the crowd of mithyajnanigalu. Our birthday has nothing to do with changing life of anyone, its just wasting money and being more pride on ourselves and also to put pressure on society through a strong force called 'peer-pressure'.
When Janigalu born, they show many number of their activities that incubate jnana into many yogya jeevigalu. Thus providing an opportunity for yogya jeevigalu to get into purpose for which they should have born. Thus Jnanigalu take 'Guru' place. (As they guide towards right path/ Sat-path).
