Does not this sounds crazy?
Yes, as we grow and new generations come in there builds lots of gaps in approach, speed and also expectations. This causes lots of hickup in the families to live together. In big organizations its called as Generation Gap management and typically they have Bridge the gap programs.
Our sanathana dharma has laid foundations for living together with large generation gaps way back. But we left behind in research of it and utilization of it as time moved on.
As, community has severe crisis of breakup, hatred towards having in-laws at house, tough times of managing parents one should revisit what was the foundation provided by sanathana Dharma.
Our life coaches, pravachanakararu have to address this efficiently and attract people towards their approaches to train people to live together. One cannot just provide examples and stories but its time to provide 'FRAMEWORK' that executes.
Many a times when I have interacted with old age people when i was kid I have found that they looked more mature and providing more freedom of thinking but still holding their position as "GUIDING Experienced men/women". This piece of character is missing today mostly in elders. They behave like young or confused generations rather. They feel world is dissolving and need their quick action to save it. But, in hurry they end up in having tug of war.
This basic issue has propagated like "GHAR-GHAR-KI-KAHANI" so thus putting permanent negative perception in specially women about ATYE-SOSE. There is a great contribution to this perception from movies and great serials that run in all languages. These serials and movies acted like a propaganda towards Hindu Undivided Families(HUF).
We have to correct this now itself, so that we lead best composite family still in 2020 era.
Some institutions around within India have been addressing this in common ways across Hindu families and even lots of our Madhwa families are attracted towards that. But, being ourself having solutions already we need to utilize it smartly and build further to it for our future generations.
