Divya Kshetra - Narshya (Narasimhageha)

Toulava kshetra - the one that is created by Parashuram Devaru has a great attachment to Madhwa Guru, Jagadguru, Param Guru Sri MAdhwacharyaru. In this pavitra area, there are lots of ancient temples where diety is been worshipped by Sri Madhwacharyaru. In all places, they showed Hari-Sarvottama and Vayu Jeevottama tatwas. All such information is been composed very well by Sri Panditacharyaru in Sumadhwavijaya. One among such divine places is NARSHA where Yoga Narasimha blessing devotees since long.

History of NARSHA
"Sajjananam modayantam" as rightly said -  Sri Anand Teertha has provided lots of ananda to their bhaktas by providing the right and accurate information of Veda, Shastras. They demonstrated many mahimas to prove Hari Sarvottama and Vayu Jeevottama. Not only that they proved Jagat Satya, Pancha bedha, taratamya through many incidents.

Once they visited NARSHA near Mangalore. In history, this place was known as Narasimhageh. Later it got conveyed as 'Narsha' due to the way how people started telling the name of the place. The temple is lower than the ground level with a puskarani in front of it. This beautiful place is made a holy place by yoga posture, west-facing lord Nararsimha. Madhwcharyaru is vishesha aaradhakaru of Sri Narashima, as we can see they did 'nakha stuti' of Narasimha to explain supreme lord in Hari-Vayustuthi. They did puskarani snan and also pooja of Lord Narasimha. 

The place witnessed a lot of crowd as usual during a visit for Anandteertharu. Along with good Haribhaktas even the critics were part of the gathering. Their intention was to make Madhwa Tatwa false somehow. But, as we peep into history all such people were defeated by Madhwacharyaru always.

Suddenly, they called up a 'Vatu' and got on to his shoulder and made him take a round of Narsha temple. The vatu happily took Sri Madhwacharyaru on the shoulder and took around with a great smile and no tiredness. Thus, anyone in the gathering can easily make out the lightweight of Sri Madhwacharyaru. This is called 'Laghima' siddhi of jnanigalu. While in Kantavara place even wrestlers could not move the hand(Garima sidhi) of Sri Madhwacharyaru here a small vatu(kid) carrying them on the shoulder made everyone wonder and praise mahima of acharyaru. There are 8 such siddhis - Anima, Garima, Laghima, Mahima, Eeshitwa, Vashitwa, Praapti, praakashya also known as 'Astaishwaryas'. 

This Mahima sloka can be found in Sumadhwavijaya 16th Sarga at sloka #30. 

Such a wonderful historical place with Jagruta Lord Narasimha kshetra later goto to 'Ballakkuraya' family worship. Their family did around 300+ years of uninterrupted pooja of Lord even during many difficult times and situations.  Later in December 2021, they handed over the place ownership completely to Sri Uttaradimath in presence of pontiff Sri 1008 Sri Satyatma Teertharu to grow this place for devotion, Jnana and sajjana sangha.

This place is a great madhwa saints place who were in lineage of Sri Uttaradimath.  Being a true Madhwa lady is as tough life style as a women CEO of large organization How is Kalibadhe to Women? Women been power of the community always, in the past, present and most importantly for future. If dharmik happy life has to be seen on this earth its possible only through brave women.
