Sarvadarshi Chintana - While many unorganized sectors have union why not pandits?

 

The union is most beneficial to handle many basic requirements of life

We see many unions today around us. Like labor union, Auto union, farmers, etc we don't find any union that exists for pandits, cooks, Archakas of Madhwas. The union is not required to take up some positions, it is not required to keep doing some strikes. But rather following are best benefits of the union. We should move towards making such union at early to protect ourselves and be helpful to each other in situations like Covid-19.

Benefits of Union:
  1. Ensure good health benefits
  2. Take government-related work like BPL cards, insurance making, license, and many other things together with ease of doing
  3. Build awareness of finance
  4. Take up some work towards social welfare
  5. Build self-help groups to manage crisis
  6. Build education plans together
  7. Build plans to purchase, sell lands within the society
Thus, we can build a good social connection to stand with each other in tough times. Today, while we talk to Crowd Funding platforms like Satkarta Seva Association (Only single crowdfunding platform for Madhwas today) it feels like :
  1. Archaka / Pandit varga has no planned emergency funds
  2. Not having adequate knowledge on finance, savings, growing money
  3. Not having good funds for the Education of kids
  4. Not part of any social reformation where they could act upon
We need to ask a question to ourselves, apart from Yatra, Jatra, temple constructions have we seen any social welfare activities taken up by the group of Archaka or Pandit varga? Has there been any plans for the upliftment of cook families to enable for comfortable living, health protections etc.

Its time to work on such great benefit within the society.
