Sri Anatacharya Katageri(hence called as Katageri Dasaru), is a real Madhwa Sadhakaru. The Madhwa Tatwa says, we are born to do Adhyayana, Adhyapana, and spreading Vishnu Sarvottamatwa and Vayu Jeevotamatwa. Along with that make positive difference to as many lives as possible through our wisdom or ability that GOD has given to us.

Katageri Dasaru spend 80+ years in learning, sharing and building Dasa Sahitya in many students. They rode the bicycle to go to house from house to teach Dasa padagalu to kids & young. This is not simply possible by everyone as people expect return on their efforts. But, Dasaru did niswartha seva by not expecting anything from anyone but expected GOD to give energy to keep making difference. Their voice is one unique and always pleasing to convert any confusions of mind towards clarity of Lords lotus feet.

They are champion in Gamaka & Dasa Sahitya both. The uniqueness of them is they not only just sing or have momorised the dasa sahitya songs but they can explain the internal meaning of them, contexts towards life and situations, also provide historic/spiritual details of them. This is tough at any point of time. Mostly when we evaluate singers we evaluate based on their status, voice, platforms where they perform and how dignified they are. But, one need to evaluate them based on their knowledge and change they want to bring through their God gifted abilities. 

93+ year young Dasaru has 19 types related 4000+ dasa Padagalu in their memory. They can sing any song with out reference of book or content. Due to age factor they may struggle today but this is still a wonder.

They just get around Rs. 1000/- as monthly pension(age based), and nothing else. Their satkarma is leading them still a peaceful life. They have given many wonderful Shishya balaga to Madhwa community and also beyond Madhwa community to all Dasa Sahitya followers.

Presently, they move between Dharwad and Ramadurga places based on convenience but still are doing their Dasa sahitya seva.

As a strong Madhwa community we have to do our seva towards such Sadhakaru to help them with monthly life leading expenses. Their relatives & family still are going to take care but what they did is beyond their family and covered madhwa community so we must do our seva as Madhwas.

Push your government always for respecting and recognizing such talent, Niswarth Seva people. Even PM should call this in Man-Ki-Bat in coming days...

 Being a true Madhwa lady is as tough life style as a women CEO of large organization How is Kalibadhe to Women? Women been power of the community always, in the past, present and most importantly for future. If dharmik happy life has to be seen on this earth its possible only through brave women. Today with heavy influence of western culture, to be clear western Bad culture influence is much higher than influence of westerns good culture.
