 What do we learn from Narasimha Avatara?

सत्यं विधातुं निज-भृत्य भाषितं

व्याप्तिं च भूतेष्वखिलेषु चात्मनः |

अदृश्यतात्यद्भुत रूपं उद्वहन्

स्तम्भे सभायां न मृगं न मानुषं || - श्रीमद्भागवतं

satyam vidhaatum nija bhrutya bhaashitam | vyaaptim ch bhooteshwakhileshu chaatmanaH |

adhrushyataatbhuta roopamudhwahan | stambhe sabhaayaa na mrugam na maanusham. ||

• Lord Narasimha took Avatara to keep up trust words of their Bhakts (Pralhada, Java-Vijaya)
• He proved he dont need to be born or no other jeeva cause needed for his avatara
• Lord can kill any daemon with just his Nakha(each of his body is as paripoorna has him)

Today we are in deep worries as opposed to being confident about our survival and success as its all managed by GOD? 

Why we have installed worry in our minds?

• With lots of invaders attacking us periodically looting our properties & assets
• Our strong laws does not allow us to crime but crime happens on us easily
• We cannot marry another religion girl with compromising our rules but others can take away our girl child thus reducing our numbers and leading to marriage issues of today
• Our intention is to lead kids on always Satpatha, less bride oriented jobs, less dharma compromising jobs, no cheating business thoughts

Anytime the feeling is what is some one pushes us into wrong path? That is creating worry. On top of that we always came from rich cultural background and worries around loosing culture always causes mind upsets.

Where this worry is heading towards?

While worry originated from many of above causes, it now has been reaching a level that at each step we think "Oh! I might loose, let not other win".  What if we allow some one to succeed and I look like looser? What is some one over performs and I am looser? What if other religion/cast people grow and we vanish? This has lead to following things:

• Lots of hesitations to take risk ( its as good as you don't have faith in self / GOD )
• Internalizing competition ( as if we will loose outside by default, lets win inside at least )
• Being worried than moving ahead ( as if every act is for loosing )
• Be at comfort zone always ( so that there is no fear of change )
• Compromise more on Dharma, Acharane ( so that we are not targeted for being Dharmik, lets look liberal )
• Blame each other ( If other getting credit, then I may become looser or of less importance ).
• Not support anyone within community ( if they suddenly grow? What about me? )

What is solution for this?

The worries that we carry are none other than worries that Hiranyakashyapu had. He was not worried by outsiders, rather he was worried by his own son. He was not worried about big personality, rather was worried by a smallest kid. He was not worried by any astra, shastra rather he was worried about "Narayana" word chanted by son.

So, as long as we chant "Narayana", "Narasimha" without any fear, we can make progress. We still have many Madhwas who have gone to biggest milestone achievements by just trusting GOD. If you dont trust your own background then you will wonder to find another background. Let any number of invaders come, let anything happen in the world - nothing will damage as long as our trust on GOD is fixed. 

Coming to being worried within community - we should stop this. Let people within community grow with their levels. As all growing people within community have deep roots within Madhwa Janma they surely will comeback and make difference to our own community. But, while if you get a doubt make a chanting in their name to keep them inside the community than moving out. Remove the fear of internal compitition, rather get ready to handle external forces by fighting with our Mantras. As Vishwamitra rushi says "Brahmabalam Tejobalam Balam" we cannot just take a weapon and start our fights and win.

But trust in GOD, trust in our roots is most important and critical. Let our kids be educated to read by themselves, let our kids be gifted with Bhagavatha/Geetha books to read themselves. Lets make attempt to recognize good performers within the community and avoid anything that differentiate us with Matha, region, social status, financial background, disability background etc.

All these can be done by just trusting GOD and making our efforts towards "Dharma Karya"
