Today 03-07-2023 and auspicious day of Guru Poornima and Sri Sathyasankalpa Teerth Aaradhana(Uttaradimath - Mysore) marks 33rd Vardhanthi Mahotsava of Sri Vedeshtirtha Vidyapeeth. The vidyapeeth which is at the banks of river Bhima in Mannur(Taluk: Afzalpur, Dist: Kalaburagi, Karnataka). The holy river Bhima river, which was born from the sweat of the holy Varahadev, passed through many theerthakshetras with the special presence of Sridhara Rupi Paramatma....

Mannur, is the place of history, place of worship, and place of great Madhwa parampara growth starting from Sri Madhava Teerth, Sri Vidyanidhi Teerth, Sri Vedesh Teerth, Sri Raghuvarya teerth(Moola brindavana at Anegundi Navabrindavana) Sri Raghuttam Teerth, and Dhruva Kararchita Agastyamuni Poojitha Divya Sannidhana of Venerable Lord Sri Chennakeshava.

Jagadguru Sri Madhava Tirtha Sripadamgala, the third disciple of Shri Madhavacharya, and the original Brindavan Sannidhana is also the place of work of Sri Raghuttamatirtha Sripadamgala, the great benefactor who gave the world a lineage of annotators, similarly Sri Vedeshtirth who gave to this world great benefactors like Sri Yadavarya. The Sripadangavara's original Brindavana sannidhana, adorning such holy soil A Gurukula running in a magnificent divine ancient system.

The Uttaradimath, the moola mahasamsthana of Madhwacharya has been in knowledge creation, madhwa tatwa prasara work since many shatamanas. Uttaradimath has given 40+ saints who have been contributing to Madhwa world lots of knowledge work and people who take it forward to next generations. Sri Jayateertha's work of Srimanyayasudha is the main source of true knowledge of acharya madhwa tatwas among people today. While Mannur is very close to Sri Jayateerth Moola Sannidhana (Malakheda, Kalaburagi) has been histoically upholding madhwa siddhantha. This is the place where Sri Madhav Teerth moola brindavana is wintnessed today.

Around 650 years ago, on the orders of Jagadguru Madhvacharya, his disciple Sri Madhava Tirtha Sripadamgala came to this field and established the Vidyapeeth for the first time to condemn the paramatians all over the world...

After him, Uttaradi Abbot Sri Raghunathathirtha Sripadamgala came here in the original Brindavan Malakheda Sankara order, stayed here for many years and kept more than 300 monastic disciples, led the Vidyapeeth and conducted lectures for many days.

  After Raghunatha Theertha, Shri Raghuvarya Theertha Sripadamgala, the Nava Brindavanstha who crossed the river carrying the box of God Ramachandra to save it from thieves in the overflowing Bhima, led the Vidyapeeth.

He studied under Param Pujya Mahuli (Pm. Gopalacharya Pm. Vidyasimhacharya) Acharya at Satya Dhyana Vidyapeeth, Mumbai, who was from the same town, and entrusted the responsibility to Akamanchi Anantacharya, son of Bhagavata Ratna Akamanchi Govindacharya...

The present Presiding Officer Sri 1008 Sri Sri Satyatmatheertha Sripadamgalava Uttaradi Math is entering its 33rd year after completing 32 years unbroken by his grace....

Already six Sudha Mangals have been completed in this Vidyapeeth...

More than a hundred students are doing religious propaganda all over the country, spreading the doctrine of Sri Madacharya, serving the Sri Math, doing priesthood etc.

At present more than 35 students are studying in Vidyapeeth

Similarly, in this Vidyapeeth the lessons of Nyaya Vedanta Grammar Astrology Priesthood are going on every day and according to the present phenomenon secular education also computer etc. education is being imparted fairly.

This Vidyapeeth is being managed as per the ancient Gurukula system.

Similarly Pandit Sarveshacharya who are sons of Pujya Acharya in Satya Dhyana Vidyapeeth in the metropolis of Mumbai, Parampujya Mahuli Vidyasimhacharya and Pt. Sudhantha studied Vedanta under Vishwa Prajnacharya and is currently taking charge of Vidyapeeth and leading it under the guidance of Acharya...

Such a Vidyapeeth has already given its own contribution in various work activities responding to the difficulties of the society in all the goings on of the society....

  • Improving facility for madhwa jnana prasara to have Libraries, atmosphere to study.
  • Providing facility to devotees who come to visit mannur for Brindavana or Sri Chenna Keshav temple
  • Creating knowledge by authoring books written by students, scholars affiliated to the matha
  • Making big impact in the areas like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharastra-karnataka border and of course Bangalore locations and its surrounding areas in nurturing Madhwa philosophy. 
  • Bringing back many madhwas, and brahmins from other saints or baba devotion to madhwa tatwa devotions is a greater impactful work by students and scholars of the matha
In coming days, Sri Vedeshteerth vidyapeeth is aiming to create more scholars who not only work for madhwa tatwas but also work for lots of social works that helps mankind. The mathas improved premise and its atmosphere are getting to attract more talents from even farthest places like Nagapura etc.
